Mr. Stéphane Léveillé joined DNA Capital in 2020 as Managing Director – Head of Private equity, Quebec and the Fonds de continuité québécois (FQC).

Over the past 10 years, Mr. Léveillé directed, developed, and realized the strategic which led to the emergence of private placement practice in Quebec SME at la Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ). He has completed more than 100 transactions and built a corporate investment portfolio of more than $1 billion.

As Vice President in charge of the CDPQ’s SME team, he was involved from the shareholder’s point of view or lender’s point of view in more than a hundred companies in Quebec. As such, his team accompanied our Quebec entrepreneurs and their management teams in developing their strategic plans, resolving their growth challenges and dealing with difficult situations, particularly those arising from reorganizations and tight liquidity.

As an experienced executive of the Quebec team and a member of the CDPQ’s Investment Committee, he was at the heart of the strategy and execution aimed at supporting both high-growth companies and those in difficulty or requiring a sensitive and complex reorganization.

Mr. Léveillé is also the founder of Media City, a pan-Canadian out-of-home media company. Previously, he was Director of Mergers and Acquisitions at Transat A.T., Director of Investment at SGF and Director of Financial Planning during the massive investment phases by Intrawest in Tremblant.
